Restrict files to subscribers

Keep your PDFs and other files from being directly shared.

This Subscriber Downloads add-on lets you hide any link to any file (PDF, image, etc) in your media library. Requires user to have a valid Leaky Paywall subscription before downloading content. This lets you protect your premium content by ensuring only paying subscribers can access exclusive files, reducing unauthorized sharing.

How to restrict a file to subscriber views only

After installation create a link to your file with this format:

http://yoursite.com/?leaky-paywall-media-download=media_id

media_id is the ID of the attachment (found in the media section of WP). You can find the ID in the urlof the image while viewing it in the media library. See below:

You can also get the link by clicking on a file in your media library. Copy and paste the link wherever you need it.

Require an active subscription, or limit to any specific Leaky Paywall levels
