What happens on the demo?
The demo is a 30 minutes call on Zoom. We look at your site and your goals, show you how publishers like you run Leaky Paywall, and tell you whether it fits.
How does the revenue share work?
Revenue share only applies only to new subscribers you bring in after you start. Existing subscribers at the time you join cost you nothing. On Regwall/Paywall, we take 10% of the gross subscription revenue from new subscribers. On Pro, it’s 5%. A $5/mo subscriber costs you $0.50/mo on Regwall/Paywall or $0.25/mo on Pro. A $60/year subscriber costs you $6/year on Regwall/Paywall or $3/year on Pro. Enterprise is flat-rate with no revenue share. You only pay more when you’re earning more. If readers aren’t paying, neither are you.
When should I move from Pro to Enterprise?
When your subscription setup needs more customization and hands-on support than Pro gives you. Enterprise adds custom development on UniPress mobile apps, the Flowletter newsletter platform, and other products, plus a dedicated account manager and no revenue share.
What payment processors do you support?
Stripe is built in via Stripe Connect and is the recommended path for most publishers. Authorize.net, Braintree, and other gateways are available via Enterprise pricing. We can talk through which processor fits your country, fees, and existing setup.
How long does setup actually take?
Setup is typically less than 60 days. Simple setups can be done on a live site in days. Setup is quick: the meetings and decisions take time.
Is it hard to switch from another subscription platform?
On Pro and Enterprise, we migrate you at no extra charge, a service worth about $2,000. Our team handles everything from subscriber import to paywall setup.
Do you help with setup?
We start with individualized Zoom meetings to help you set up Leaky Paywall to match your content and audience. We encourage follow-up meetings to review and deliver website and newsletter improvements, with the goal of growing your email list and paid subscribers. We also help you customize your Leaky Paywall touchpoints, and stay on the call with you after launch.
What does ongoing support look like?
We respond within 24 business hours, usually in a couple of hours. Our support team operates 9am-5pm ET and offers login-level support to diagnose and resolve issues, including conflicts with other plugins or code. We’re also happy to meet via Zoom anytime.
Do you help with growing revenue?
Yes. We provide one-on-one Zoom consultations to design your Publisher Flywheel that grows audience, traffic, and conversions. We help with audience engagement, targeting, reader experience, and add revenue sources like group subscriptions, ad-free plans, premium newsletters, and product upsells. We share what’s working across the publishers we work with. We also analyze your Subscriber Insights to help put together a game plan for growing audience and subscriptions.
What’s the difference between Regwall/Paywall, Pro and Enterprise?
Regwall/Paywall is for publishers launching a registration wall or paywall, with all the rules customizable in WordPress. Pro is the right fit for most independent publishers and adds the Offer Engine, abandoned cart and cancellation rescue, MultiPass, print circulation and CRM integrations, and subscriber migration handled by us. Enterprise is for high-volume publishers who want flat-rate pricing (no revenue share), custom development with our Flowletter newsletter platform, UniPress mobile apps, LocalCalendar, and a dedicated account manager.
